HDFC Debit card Transaction charges - There are no charges for using the card at the merchant locations for shopping and for use the card at the HDFC Bank ATMs. However, at Railway Stations and Petrol Pumps transaction charges as per industry practices will be applicable. Annual fee per card:Rs. 100 (Annual fee is waived for one additional card. All subsequent cards will be charged.) . Replacement of damaged card: Free . Replacement of lost card: Rs.100 Chargeslip Retrievel request: Rs. 100 The bank will charge cross-currency mark-up of 3.5% on foreign currency transaction carried out on Debit Cards The exchange rate used will be the VISA/ MasterCard wholesale exchange rate prevailing at the time of the transaction. Additional cards are available to joint account holders at an annual fee of Rs. 100 per card. However, the operating instructions on the account should allow for financial transaction to be conducted singly by the joint account holders. Annual fee has been waived for the first year on one additional card.
